Brooklyn found a "snake" this morning. She ran to me and said, "Mama, Snake!" Then she hissed a bunch. She wouldn't go near it for about an hour. That is when I got this video. The "snake" is part of our carpet. Sorry for the bumpy footage. She kept moving because she didn't want to get close to the "snake".

Barnum and Bailey CIRCUS
We went to the circus on Wednesday with the Stufflebeams. What a blast! We booked the tickets a couple of months ago and have looked forward to this day for awhile. I can honestly say I was a little worried about how the girls would handle the night. They love animals (Brooklyn up close and Kenzie from a distance), but you just never know about how they will do. Surprisingly, they LOVED it and were entertained for 2 1/2 hours. We asked Brooklyn what her favorite was and she said, "Ephalants" . Kenzie went NUTS over the dogs. The girls danced a bunch and just loved being there. Before the circus we got to see the performers and animals up close. What a cool thing for the kids. After the show Brooklyn went to a table where they were selling a bunch of stuff. She kept saying, "mama, mama" then pointing to the monkey. Since I am the mom I had to say no, but Grandma said yes. She bought Brooklyn the monkey and Kenzie the elephant. They LOVE them and carry them around. Thanks Stufflebeams for a fabulous night. We promise to work on the being late part. :) Going to the circus is something we will definitely do again.
Brooklyn put her monkey to bed.

I thought it was cute how she put other stuffed animals around her and made sure the monkey had some milk.

A picture of the girls right after the circus...they were worn out!

Laura...what a goofball.

Fun at the park!
We went to Discovery Park on Tuesday. What an amazing park! It is huge and has everything a kid could want. We were originally going to go to Jump on it but they changed their schedule on us so we moved our picnic to the park. We played and played for 2 hours and we still could have played longer. This is definitely going to be a weekly thing until it gets too cold to go. We went with Lindsey, Charlotte and their kids. It was cute to see Lindsey's little girl dressed almost identical to my girls. Well, sorry for the picture overload...I tend to go overboard when taking pictures because these little kids are so darn cute! We went to the circus last night with the Stufflebeams and had a blast! I have visiting teaching to do , a bread class to prep for that I'm teaching, then volleyball...who knows if I'll get to those pics to post today...but I'll sure try!

She is such a daredevil. She kept her arms out while swinging. Brooklyn also knows to move her legs and body back and forth to keep the swing going. Smart kid.

This is a little honey comb kid size.

They just love each other. It's great to see that they are such good friends.

This toy turns.
