Merry Christmas to all and to all a good night...

I was cleaning out the fridge and look who found a seat just her size.
These are the Christmas decorations I made the Stufflebeams. Each decoration represents a member in their family. I also made a poem to tie it all together. I think I was wearing glitter for like 3 days.

So, we are headed to Boise for Christmas. We were planning on leaving on Wed., but you know how things go...it is a busy time of year. So, we are getting packed up and leaving today. Last night we had a mini Christmas with the girls. Brooklyn is an old pro with opening presents. She still insisted on opening this one certain present under the tree. It is the same present that she kept hauling back to her bedroom and hiding under her crib. Silly kid. We distracted her with other gifts so that made it ok. While Brooklyn did the unwrapping, Kenzie ate the wrapping paper. Last night we also went and visited the Stufflebeams. We got to see their Christmas home video. It was so cute and we could see some of where Brooklyn some of her cute mannerisms. Speaking of mannerisms...Brooklyn has come up with a walk. It is a limp walk that she pulled out of nowhere. No worries, nothing is harmed, she just does it then walks normal again. She is such a funny kid. Kenzie learned how to clap this last week. She is still such a happy baby. She is standing on everything and is getting quick with her crawling. She just follows Brooklyn and me everywhere. Well, Merry Christmas. Hopefully this group of pics will hold you through until we get back.

I love you THIS much

Lately, Brooklyn has just been loving Kenzie to pieces...literally. She will come up behind her and just love her and give her big hugs and kisses. Kenzie freaks out because she doesn't know what the heck just happened. Brooklyn is such a good big sister. Kenzie (and we) are lucky to have her.

Quite the weekend

What an eventful weekend!!! We had our party on Friday, on Saturday we woke up and went to our Polar Express Ward Party, visited Santa at RC WILLEY, went to Tom's work party in SLC then went and saw the Christmas lights on temple square...phew! On Sunday we made brittle and divinity (1st time). What a jam packed weekend. It sure was fun though.

Visiting Santa at RC WILLEY...Brooklyn didn't care for Santa. She wouldn't even shake his hand or take his candy. Kenzie just sat there and stared at him. She didn't even smile...just stared. It was fun, nonetheless. The Stufflebeams joined us which made it all more fun.

Santa came through our neighborhood this morning. He was on the firetruck and he threw candy to the kids. Brooklyn clapped and loved seeing Santa.

Danny and Kenzie

Brooklyn looked out the window as our guests left. She was so sad to see everyone leave.

Cousin Andrew won the best holiday outfit. He is opening his prize. What's funny is Andrew won by a landslide and his parents didn't even vote for him.
Nate won "The Box" game. You have to roll a 7 and if you do you have to put on gloves, a hat and scarf then try and get the present open. It was quite comical.
Scott trying to get the present open..."The Box" game.

Kenzie checking out the gift.

Brooklyn checking out the present as well. She climbed on top and thought she was so big.

The girls had a ton of fun in this box.
The Stufflebeams...Let the party begin!

Brooklyn is such a good helper. She hands me the dishes to put away.

Happy Birthday Katie Featherstone!!!

We love you!!!

Fun Times

So, last night Tom and I went to Forgotten Carols. This has become a tradition for us...5 years! It has such a sweet spirit. We love going. Well, we got to talking and we figured out that every year we go we get stuck in a snow storm. This year we came out of the performance to 2 inches of snow. Crazy! Tom also just got back from Tuscan, AZ. He had a quick business trip. He also finished up his 1st class for his MBA. Go Tom! I have been getting our 1st Christmas party planned and making lots of calls getting ready for court on Tuesday. We are taking our builder to small claims for a faulty driveway. Wish us good luck! Let's hope I don't flub up my name like at did at the adoption day of court. :) Well, enjoy the pics. Kenzie LOVES cheerios. She may not have any teeth, but she sure is good at gumming things.
She was sooo tired. She just fell asleep in Tom's arms.

Good Morning Kenzie!

Brooklyn loves to climb up on her chair and play her music. I don't know how she gets up there, but she does and she is able to get down too.
Kenzie got a taste of Brooklyn's ice cream cone and LOVED it!

Brain Freeze!!! She wasn't so sure about this ice cream thing...it hurts!

Kenzie is always right there when Brooklyn eats.
We drove to get the mail and Kenzie didn't even make it that far. Sweet girl.
Brooklyn loves to do pullups on this chair.
