HalLOwEeN!!!

Halloween was a lot of fun this year. It was Brooklyn's 1st year of trick or treating. Here are some pictures. It is kind of out of order...end of the night to beginning...oh well. Enjoy! We're DONE!!! Long night, but we all survived!
Kenzie, Brooklyn and cousin Andrew

Debbie Stufflebeam (birthgrandma)

After trick or treating in our neighborhood we dropped off at the Stufflebeams (birthfamily) to trick or treat. They had a candle that made music and Brooklyn couldn't stop staring at it. She figured them out...no scaring her!

Kenzie is our little lightweight. Anytime she is warm and cozy, she's out. She didn't make it past the 2nd house of trick or treating before she fell asleep.

This is all the loot she came up with! That's just a few houses too! People just can't resist how cute she is. :)

Brooklyn went through a haunted house and wasn't even scared. She led the way and even tried to touch the skeletons, spiders, and cobwebs on the way. Silly girl. She always keeps us guessing what she'll do next.

We went with Dan and Cass on Sunday and got some Fall pictures at the park in our neighborhood. Here are some pics of our family. We just love Fall.

Adventures in St. George and some random happenings

Kenzie and cousin Andrew....same age!

We were getting them ready for the day and we needed a place to confine them both so when we got back with their clothes they were holding hands. Proof...they do love each other. :)

This is our little inch worm. She gets into the crawling position, but doesn't quite get the movement part.
Phew...that's a lot of pictures!!! Sorry for the overload. :) Well, life has been somewhat crazy around here. We've had Dan and Cass living with us the past week and now we have Grandma Hall. It will be hard to have the house quiet again. St. George sure was fun. The pics show some of the fun we had. We also went to Zions but I didn't have our camera with us. bummer. Well, Kenzie is getting more and more animated. She is getting pretty good at sitting on her own, but still tips over a bit. She is also learning to smack her lips and mimic us when we do it. She is a big jabber box too. It is so fun to hear her learn to use her voice, but I have to admit that some sounds are more pleasant than others. She reaches decibals that shouldn't be reached. She is getting more and more mobile as well. We'll put her down and she'll be across the room moments later. She loves to play with toys and she is learning to fight back when Brooklyn tries to take them from her. She has won a few tug o wars with her sister. :) Brooklyn is so busy. She is a go go go baby. She has also managed to get a couple of bruises on her face. She has a black eye and a bruise on her cheek. She got friendly with the end table and the tub. I don't think she will be as friendly in the future. Her newest thing is that she will cry when anybody leaves...stranger or not. It is like she is devastated. She sobs and runs to the window to see them leave. She is also learning some words. She says dan do for thank you, moooo for cow and dat for cat. She also points a lot. When we go for our walks she likes to wave at the cars then looks back to see if they responded. She loves to be rough housed and chased. She just squeals and wants more. Her top chompers are almost in all the way. Watch out she is unstoppable with any food! She LOVES books. It seems like that is all she wants to do anymore. I think I have all of our books memorized. Looks like we will be taking a trip to the library soon. Well, LONG post. Who knows when I'll post again. I'm heading to Boise for the weekend and week so it may be awhile.

Tom the Poet

Thanks to Mama Hall, we have these poems that Tom wrote when he was in 6th grade. Who knew he was such a good little poem writer at such a young age and soooo romantic. :) Enjoy!

Pineaple Coconut Delight
By Tommy Hall

The lumpy, yellow, and white
delight will taste like nuts,
pineaples, and coconuts
it will smell fresh like pineaple
and coconut
you will hear crunches and
squishes and it will feel
lumpy soft and cold.

My First Kiss
by Tommy Hall

The moons alight the stars are bright
your hand touches mine,
our hearts and eyes meet, i feel the blood rush down to my
feet. Our lips lightly press, we both close our eyes.
Then when we awake to our
surprise. we've had the first kiss of our lives

True Love
By Tommy Hall

Her hair glimmers like diamonds
She wants something
She jumps and dances
Suddenly it dawns on him
He is in love
She hears a whisper
She asks, "Whose there".
He says "Don't mind me I won't bother you"
She says "Please bother me".

THIS IS ANOTHER VERSION OF THE LAST ONE...KEEP READING!

FYI

With conference coming up I thought this was a cool fact...

The number of people it takes to put together the weekly performance of the Mormon Tabernacle Choir is impressive: 360 choir members, two conductors, and three full-time and two part-time organists. And when the Orchestra at Temple Square is there, it adds another 110 people. In all, says conductor Craig Jessop, about 500-550 people belong to the choir organization.
