Random Happenings...

This week has been busy!!! We went to the Sportman's Expo, the library (Brooklyn LOVED it! She kept handing me books and going back for more. I think we ended up with 10 books to take home!), and swimming! What a fun week! This weekend we are going to go on an Easter egg hunt, have Easter dinner (no plans yet, but will do it!), and help Cassie pack! Kenzie also turns 1 next week. Any ideas as to what to do for that? I am open to all suggestions. All I know is I'm doing a bird/duck cake because Kenzie LOVES her duck and makes bird noises. Speaking of noises, Kenzie makes a cow sound. She goes,"mooooooooo" sooooo cute! She also growls and Tom swears she said KZ. She is still working on the walking thing and takes 2-3 steps and that's about it. She is such a sweetie. Brooklyn is my big helper. she loves to help where ever she can. She puts toys away (with help of course), helps stir food, gives toys to Kenzie, and helps with the laundry. I love having the help! She is also learning more and more words each day. She LOVES to read and discover things. She is so curious. Being a mom is amazing. I love "my job"! Our cute little easter bunny
We FINALLY got our driveway replaced. Brooklyn was VERY interested in seeing what all was going on outside. She spent a good part of the day in front of the window watching the workers. It was kind of funny...there were 3 women smoking cigarettes standing around while there were 2 men making sure the cement was put in the right spot, 1 guy working the bobcat, and 1 kid moving all the cement around. Strange setup.

Brooklyn and her friends playing the piano.

Brooklyn is definitely our little climber. This is one of the places she climbs to. She likes to help momma with cooking!

Brooklyn showing Kenzie how to draw.

Our budding artist.

We babysat some kids the other night and Brooklyn and Kenzie showed them their tent.

We have salsa kids! Tom was eating chips and MEDIUM salsa and Brooklyn and Kenzie couldn't get enough. Brooklyn would dip her chip in the salsa and lick it off then dip it in a gain. They eat spicier things than we do!

We realized that we bought a kid tent a few months back so we set that up for the girls. Let's just say that they spend a lot of time in there. Brooklyn likes to bring her toys in there.

We built a fort for the girls with blankets. I used to do it as a kid and thought it would be fun for the girls. Brooklyn brought some of her books in the fort and thought she was so cool.

goofballs...they kept both trying ot get under the end table.

We went to the Sportman's expo. There were a ton of animals and fish everywhere...Brooklyn and Kenzie LOVED it!

She looked sooooo cute with her hands behind her head.

First off, HAPPY BIRTHDAY EMMA!!! We hope your birthday was the best! It looks like you had fun at the pool. We love you!
