The HUNT for Easter eggs

This morning we went to the neighborhood Easter egg hunt with cousin Andrew and Cassie. Success! Brooklyn was on a hunt...a serious hunt...and she didn't care what was in the eggs compared to how many she got. We counted them up and she ended up with 48 eggs in less than 5 minutes. Go Brooklyn! Kenzie liked the 1 egg she got. She shook it and licked it and just admired it. As soon as Brooklyn discovered there was candy inside she wanted all of it and was upset when we tried to open wrappers for her. When we got home we put all of the eggs on the floor and Brooklyn kept filling and emptying the basket over and over. Very cute. Tomorrow we are going to have dinner at our house. We have invited family and some friends that have husbands in the military over for a feast. We'll post more pics of that later. Happy Easter!

So cute! So the competitive question is, how many eggs were there total? She made off with a ton! What a little goof, looks like she's taking on her mother's traits!

How fun is that? Oh to be a kid again and get all the Easter Egg candy. The girls are so cute in their bunny ears and hunting for eggs. What sweet memories they are going to have!
That's wonderful about your driveway, what a stress relief. Enjoy driving on your new turf!
