Blessings and Birthdays
This past weekend was very eventful. My birthday was on Friday. The girls were sooo excited to wish me a happy birthday that they woke up several times that night to do that. Little sweeties. For my birthday, we went to dinner with Mary, Cass, Andrew and the fam. We went to Sweet Tomatoes...mmmm my favorite. Then Tom took me to Target to pick out my favorite CD. I got Rascal Flatts new ones. The CDs are AMAZING!!! Thanks to all those that made my day special. The rest of the weekend we (Kenzie and I) went to Idaho Falls to go to the blessing of my new nephew, Justin Jeffrey Anderson (Brooke's baby). Most of the family was able to attend except Brooklyn, Tom and my sister Jenn's family. Brooklyn got sick on Friday with a cold so we felt it was best to keep her at home to get better. Plus, it was good to have some one-on-one time with each girl. I've never just had Kenzie with me so it was nice to bond with her. Tom has never had just Brooklyn for 2 days and he really enjoyed it. He even taught her a new trick. Everytime he says, "STRETCH" she'll arch her back and put her arms back and make the stetching sound. soooo cute! Her other words that she uses are To, To....when she wants to know where Tom is. She says To, To, To and looks out the window because we look out the window when we are waiting for Tom to come home. When she needs me she'll go ma ma ma and search the house. She also like doing somersaults (?sp) She gets on her head with her bum in the air and then we turn her over. Oh ya, she's an expert at going down the stairs by herself. We learned that in Boise. She is such a busy body and keeps us entertained. She is getting 3 more teeth which makes a total of 8 teeth for her. Kenzie is sooo close to crawling. She gets her legs up and pushes off her feet and moves, but hasn't got the crawling motion down. She is very mobile and goes all over the room to get to her toys. She always seems to get stuck under the couch. poor kid. No teeth for her yet. She is still all smiles and the best little baby. She has a cold now too so it is a little rough around here. Tom is loving the Masters of Business Administration program and is 3 weeks into the program. He is staying VERY busy at work and putting in long hours. I just made 10 loaves of bread, browned 40lbs. of hamburgar and want to learn how to make other things as well to enhance my food storage. I just feel this urgency to get it done and to learn about it. Well, that is the long version of how we are doing. No big plans for the future but we heard a rumor that McLean's are coming into town. That would be great!
