This is the view right outside of the Chinaputte. We were sitting on the bank next to the boat when we took t his picture.
This was at low tide around 1 am. We were stuck there whether we liked it or not. No worries, we got out!
Tom filleting the fish. Check out our stash of fish!
The peak is Chinaputte. The place we went dip nettin' is right below that peak.

Tom and Michele,
Looks like ya'll are having a great time, last year the fishing at chinaputte was not as bad, we got fish every time the net went in the water, ask Diane how it was. You did better with the gunny sack and bouy idea, otherwise it is even more work, belive me.
When Don comes in this weekend he will take you guys out in the salt if the weather holds and that is always fun too. We usually see whales, otters and the occaional seal or even sea lion this time of year in the Kachemak bay.
You still need to see Resurrection bay and Seward and do a dinner cruise either in Seward or on the Prince William Sound, and you gotta do the art museum at Anchor Point called Norman Lowells, fantastic!!!
Wish I was there with ya'll, remember play till you drop, there will plenty of time to sleep when you get back outside.
