Lil' Brooklyn had her 6 month dr. appointment yesterday. She is 16 lbs., 25 inches long, and her head is 17 inches wide. Her weight and head are in the 50%ile and her heigth is still in the 25%ile. The Dr. said her head is borderline 50-75%ile. I knew she was smart! :) Her results came in from her ultrasound and VCUG. She has a grade 2 relux into her kidneys. She has to be on bactrum every night for 9 months! Luckily, she really likes the flavor and it hasn't been a problem giving it to her so far. She also got 4 shots yesterday. She is one tough kid. As you can see in the pics, she is sitting up on her own and as of yesterday, can roll over onto both sides. She'll be rolling to get places here soon enough. She has been going to bed at 7:30! Yeah! and sleeping in till 7:30-8:00am. That is so nice. Everytime we check on her she is in a different position. What's cute is she loves to sleep on her side. I introduced pots and pans to her yesterday and they are a hit. She loves to bang a spoon against them. She is also eating all sorts of veggies and fruits. I don't know why, but she doesn't seem to care for fruit. I think it may be the texture of the bananas and pears. She loves to beg for "human food". 1 week and she will legally be ours!!!

what a cute little valentines outfit! she is such a little cutie, he little chubby cheeks are just so cute. good job brooklyn on sitting up!! way to go! im with her on the fruits, it is the texture for me too;) i like them in smoothies, but besides banana's and oranges and apples, im not much of a fruit person. cute pictures though;) and you look so cute michelle, your belly is growing:) almost done!
I hope the baby's head is not 17 inches WIDE, maybe 17 inches circumference? But aside from that it is exciting to see her rolling and sitting up, she appears to making all the milestones of development ringt on time, I for one am glad. The rosy red cheeks are so cute with the Valentines outfit too!!!
